Feature story about Joseph Chica, a student at Columbus High School who was diagnosed with leber congenital amaurosis (LCA) — an eye disorder that affects the retina and slowly worsens over time. Though Chica’s disorder continues to worsen and will eventually lead to blindness, he continues to overcome the everyday challenges with the help of music.
